Mission Statement

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

The Merit Trip Status Report is Available. Find out if you have qualified for this exiting Trip. June 8th-11th is the when, now all we need is the where and who.

Merit Trip 

This camping trip in June is 3 to 5 days in length and will take place after school is out.  Scouts must earn the right to attend this trip.  The requirements for attending this trip are:

1.     Participate in 70% of the Troops monthly outings or events.  You must sleep over at least one night.

2.     Attend two-thirds of the District Camporee’s.

3.     Perform 10 hours of community service.

4.     Participate in the annual Lions Club Fish Fry. 

The requirements may vary slightly.  Requirements are determined by the Patrol Leaders Council.  The Troop pays for all the basic expenses of the Merit Trip.
